BIO
Hi, Iām Bex. I am a multi-hyphenate creative and fine artist based in Lansing, MI. I work primarily with fiber, paint, and glass, but also enjoy photography and utilizing upcycled materials in my work. I have an interest in exploring tenderness within queer identity and relationships and how the LGBTQIA+ community finds themselves through experiences often contextualized by misunderstanding. I also lean into themes that speak to the complex feelings that rise when faced with daily emotional reconciliation of the horrors at large. I enjoy navigating the practical application of fiber art and upcycling materials as an enriching force in daily life.
When not making art, I am likely found camping with my girlfriend, tending to our garden, thrifting at local shops and estate sales, or spending time with my pets. I take my coffee black.
